Google reveals its Nexus Nexus 6 and 9
Google said Wednesday that it was ready to lift the veil on its latest Nexus devices.
One will be the Nexus 6 , a smartphone “phablet” and the other Nexus tablet in September, both under the Android version of Lollipop, the latest operating system update.
In a blog post announcing the new devices, Android chief Sundar Pichai said, “Lollipop is designed to be flexible to work on all devices and to be personalized by you in the manner it deems appropriate” .
The Google phone “phablet” Nexus 6 , built by Motorola, which this year was sold to Lenovo has a quad-HD 5.9 inch screen with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, a density of 493 pixels per inch. It also comes with a quad-core 2.7GHz Snapdragon and Adreno 805 graphics processor 420.
The Nexus 6 has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. The phone requires only 15 minutes of charging every six hours of use. Google says it is prepared for 24 hours of use on a full charge.
The Nexus 6 will be available for pre-order in late October , and will be in stores in November.
Meanwhile, the Nexus tablet 9 includes an LCD screen of 8.9 inch IPS. With a light weight, it is powered by a Nvidia Tegra K1 64-bit processor and dual core graphics chip Nvidia Kepler.
It has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.6 megapixel front camera for video calls. The tablet also comes with storage options of 16GB or 32GB.
The Google Nexus tablet in September , developed by HTC despite their lack of experience in the industry, comes in a brushed aluminum frame, instead of the anticipated all-metal design, which helps keep the price of the device down.
No expandable storage, so it will be important to choose the model with wisdom.
The Nexus 9 will be available on October 17 for pre-order.
