The saga of Marvel movies released in recent years has brought to life an old comic book character that many had forgotten: we are talking about Iron Man . The man behind the armor, Tony Stark, it took considerable time and required several prototypes before he could perfect his great creation and take it to the limits of technology . But Stark is not the only one with such a suit, because the U.S. military is developing one and planning to start testing in June this year.

Well, it’s not really correct to say that the TALOS project the U.S. military is an Iron Man (looks more like Master Chief in fact) because it can not fly or shoot lasers or energy beams or make all cool stuff you can do the famous superhero. TALOS is actually an advanced combat suit : provides stronger thanks to an exoskeleton, is lightweight, durable and is designed for assault operations.

In total there are 56 corporations, 16 government agencies, 13 universities and 10 laboratories that are part of the TALOS project, so there is no doubt that the U.S. military is very serious about all this. Recently also confirmed that a special event called “Monster Garage” in which people can make known their ideas by different accessories for the costume will be made.

Evidence of TALOS begin in June and is expected that the final model is available for combat in August 2018, for which there is some way.
